When it comes to straightening your teeth and getting the smile that you have always wanted, Invisalign can be an effect form of treatment. Invisalign braces are going to differ from other forms of braces because they are plastic trays that are used to move your teeth, rather than metal brackets and wires. These are great if you want braces that are going to be less noticeable, while still moving your teeth. However, in order for you to get the most success out of your Invisalign braces, you are going to need to wear them properly. Here are three tips for success when using Invisalign braces.

Change Out Your Trays At The Proper Times

When you have Invisalign braces, you are going to have multiple trays that you wear over your teeth. You will start off with one set of trays, and then once your teeth have moved enough, you will move onto the next set of trays. In order to keep your teeth moving on track, you are going to want to make sure that you switch your Invisalign trays out at the appropriate times. You also need to make sure that you are putting your trays on in the correct order, or your teeth won't move properly.

Wear Them All Of The Time

With very few exceptions, you are going to want to wear your Invisalign braces all of the time. The only times that you should've them in are when you are eating food and when you are brushing your teeth. This means that for around 22 hours a day, your Invisalign should be in your mouth. This is going to help your teeth to actually move into completely new positions, so that you can get the straight teeth and beautiful smile that you have always wanted.

Use Attachments

A lot of the time Invisalign braces are going to come with attachments that help your teeth to move more quickly into the correct positions. These attachments are colored buttons that attach to your teeth and connect with the Invisalign braces. By choosing not to wear these, you can greatly lengthen the overall time that you have to spend in braces, as well as how effective the braces are when it comes to moving individual teeth. Attaching the buttons won't take long, and the results that you will see in your teeth make them more than worth it.
